It reminds me of what Dr. Jones once said about 99 percent of archaeology being done in the library. You wouldn't know it from reading it. It works because it uses a lot of AAJ tricks like scene-by-scene construction, dialog, status symbols, recreation, and third-person omniscient, combined with a bunch of documents digging and phone interviews. This is a personal highlight of 2008.
